Proposal to Integrate New 18-Digit Centralized Drug License System in SwilERP(retailgraph)

Dear SwilERP Team,

I am a regular user of SwilERP and would like to share a suggestion for future updates regarding the new centralized drug licensing system in India.

Current Scenario: The government is migrating to a centralized platform (like statedrugs.gov.in), implementing a "One Nation, One Drug Licensing System." Under this new system, drug licenses (specifically Forms 20B and 21B) are being issued with a unique 18-digit alphanumeric format.

Feature Idea: It would be highly beneficial if SwilERP could introduce a "Drug License Search & Validation" feature integrated with this new central database.

Key Functionalities Proposed:

  1. Auto-Validation: When we create a new ledger for a supplier or retailer, the software should verify the 18-digit License Number (20B/21B) in real-time.

  2. Centralized Search: A search tool to find party details directly using their 18-digit license number.

  3. Data Uniformity: Ensure the database fields support and validate the specific format of these new 18-digit licenses.

This feature will greatly assist chemists and wholesalers in verifying the authenticity of parties instantly and maintaining compliance with the new government standards.
