Bug Description:

Many users were confused when the GST Report (GSTR1) started showing quantities based on HSN unit conversions instead of the product’s actual units. This change didn’t match their usual reporting format and led to discrepancies in understanding and reconciling data.

Resolution:

This issue has been resolved in Version 4.0.00.01. A rollback has been applied, and users now have the option to enable or disable this setting based on their preference.

Steps to Ensure Proper Functioning:

  1. Update your software to Version 4.0.00.01.

  2. Go to the GSTR1 report.

  3. Look for the option “Qty as per HSN Unit in GST Report.”

  4. Enable this setting if you want to see quantity as per HSN unit or disable it to view actual product quantity.

This update gives users the flexibility to control how quantities are displayed in GST reports — making the data easier to understand, verify, and align with business records.
