- In order to increase the security and variability of passwords in SwilERP, the second character is determined based on the current month. For example, in June month you create a password. Taking the first letter of June, which is 'J', we then determine the next coming letter in the English alphabet, which is 'K'. So the second character will be K of the password. Each month is assigned a specific character as follows:

- The next four characters in the password (3rd to 6th) are derived from the current date.
- To calculate these digits, simply add up all the numbers in the date. Let's take today's date as an example: 01-06-2023.
- To determine the four digits, add up the day (01), the month (06), and the year (2023): 01 + 06 + 2023 = 2030.
Note: Therefore, the resulting four digits for today's date would be 2030. Remember to adapt this calculation based on the current date when generating the password for SwilERP.
Example: Today's Password for Export/Import Format (01st Jun 2023)
- When running the "Export/Import Format" option in SwilERP on 01st Jun 2023, the password will be "FK2030F".
Explanation:
- 1st and 7th characters: "F" (consistent for Export/Import Format).
- 2nd character: "K" (corresponding to the current month, June).
- 3rd to 6th characters: "2030" (sum of date digits: 01+06+2023).
Note: Create today's passwords for other SwilERP features by following the same process.
