How to Create Discount Master for Supplier in SwilERP
A Discount on Supplier/Vendor is an option for applying a fixed discount on purchasing products. Users can apply discounts specifically Vendor-wise, Product-wise, or Category-wise.
For example, If a user applies a discount to the vendor, the discount is applied whenever they make a purchase from the same seller.
Start with Login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process
- Go to the Master Data> Discount (Supplier).
In the Discount Supplier list window:
- There is an option to create a New Discount rate.
- Edit, Print, Delete, and refresh options are also available.

To Create a New Discount Master
- Click on the New option.
- If you want to apply the discount on a particular Vendor, then select the Vendor name.
- Then, select a Marketing company, Marketing group, and Product Category if you want to apply discount on them.
- Select the Product in which you want to apply the discount.
- Select Stock Location, if required.
- Enter Qualifying Criteria:
- Enter Minimum Amount in the column on which you want to apply the discount rate.
- Select Start to End "Date & Time" to apply discount on a particular duration.
- Enter the Discount Rates:
- Enter Trade Discount in the column.
- or, you can enter Scheme discount in percentage(%) or Rs.
- Click on the Save button.
