How to Do Sales Analysis in SwilERP Enterprise


This report provides a comprehensive overview of sales transactions, categorizing them by customer bills. You have the flexibility to adjust details for better comprehension, such as utilizing pivot tables. SwilERP's Sales Transaction report simplifies tracking sales activities like orders and returns within a specific timeframe. It furnishes valuable insights, simplifying analysis and assessment of your business performance. Moreover, customization options allow tailoring the report to your specific needs.

Start with Login in SwilERP Dashboard to Initiate the Process

  1. Go to Menu> Analysis > Sales Transactions.

  1. A new window of Sales Transaction will appear.
  2. Select the Date Range from where you want to view the report.
  3. Select the Report Type in which format you see the report. (Summary, Detail, Day wise, Month wise)
  4. The Transaction column is auto-filled by the sales.
  5. You can also filter the Customer/ Sales Person/ Series from the given option.
  6. Select or deselect Invoice Attribute.
  7. Click on the View option.

  1. Next, select the fields to include in the report. Check the options you want, and they will automatically fill in the designated areas below.
  2. You can also Drag fields between below-given four areas: Filter, Columns, Rows, Values.
  3. The data reflect in the Analysis Grid section.

How to Make Customizable Report

Once all parameters are selected, users have the flexibility to customize the report to their specific needs. Follow the steps below for more detailed information.
  1. In the given drag fields areas, go to any field and click on the right tab of mouse. (For example, you selected Total Amt)
  2. There you will see some options. Click on the field settings option.

  1. Next, a new window of Field Setting: Total Amt will appear.
  2. Here you'll see multiple options to customize report:
    1. Filter
    2. Subtotals
    3. Show As
    4. Format
    5. Display
    6. High Values
    7. Low Values
  1. For example, you want to see maximum amount of sales transaction.
  2. Go to Subtotals and click on the maximum option.
  3. Click on OK button.

  1. After that, you'll see Maximum amount of sales transaction in the column.

Report View in Graphical Format

  1. Select the Chart tab to visualize the report in a graphical format.
  2. In this section, you will find a visual representation of the report, displaying every detail graphically.

  1. You can also view the report in Raw Data, where you can find every detail.
  2. Click on the raw data and there you will sales transaction report.

How to Save Customized Report

To save your customized report, follow the steps below.
  1. Provide the desired name for saving this report.
  2. Click on the Save button.

  1. You can export the report by choosing the saved report name from the column above.
  2. Choose the report name and click on Export. Similarly, you can import the exported report using the Import option.
  3. To reopen the report in the future, follow these steps:
    1. Open the Sales Transaction report.
    2. Select the Date as you selected before.
    3. Select the Report name and click on the Open button.
