How to Prohibit/Restrict an Item in SwilERP (RetailGraph)

SwilERP has a feature for the pharmacist to lock their products after that a pharmacist can not sell these products. If you want to restrict an item you can do it with the help of the Lock Detail feature. For this, users have to create a Lock Detail master for that product which they want to Prohibit/Restrict.

Lock Details is used to lock any transaction of any customer, Refer by, Brand, Mkt Co., Marketing Group, Product Category, Product, etc.

Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:

Step:1) Create Lock Product Master

Go to the Masters menu
Select Inventory > Lock Detail option.

After this Lock Detail window will appear on the next slide.
Click on the New option.

In lock details, you need to select an option to lock. Now, fill in the following details:

If you want to lock billing of a particular Customer, Refer By, Brand, Mkt. Co./Group, Product Category, MRP etc. Then select them in the respective columns.
Now you have to select the Product , which you want to lock. For example, we select a Product 'A. G. Imli Boota' in lock detail.
Click on the Save option.

After following the above steps, when the user will make the bill of selected item that time software will not allow the user to make bill of this item.

Step: 2) How to Lock Details work:

Now you have to create a sales invoice for the same product. Follow the below-given process.

Go to the Sales Menu> Sales Invoice Option.
Enter the details of the Customer in respective columns.
Select the same Product whose master you created in the Lock Detail window.
Fill other details i.e., Batch No, MRP, Rate in the columns.
Enter the Quantity of your product.
Now, click on the Save option.
While saving the window, an error message 'A.G.Imli Boota is Locked' will appear on the screen.
