How To Change Customer Posting Account In SwilERP (RetailGraph)



What does mean by customer posting account?

Customer posting accounts let you assign general ledger accounts and documents to all customers, a group of customers, or a single customer. These features will be used when you create sales order invoices and other bills related to the Customers.

Inside the Options menu is an option to change the customer posting account. This article will discuss how you can change it through the RetailGraph software. Follow the below steps to know the process of Change Customer Posting Account.

Start with Login in the RetailGraph dashboard to initiate the process:


  1. Go to the Options tab.
  2. Select the System Maintenance option.

How to change the Customer Posting Account in the next appearing window:

      In System Maintenance window select the 'Change Values' option to further process: 
  1. Firstly, Select the 'Customer Posting Account' option.
  2. Select the Customer whose account you want to post in another account.
  3. Select the customer's Current Account from the given drop-down list.
  4. Choose a New Account in which you want to posting now.
  5. If the user also wants to Change The Existing Transactions, check the mark this option.
  6. Select the Date from when you want to apply changes.
  7. To change these details, click on the Change tab; after a click on the Change tab, you will get a successful message.
  8. To continue this process, click on Ok.
