How to Change Brand & Category Name in SwilERP Software
Why do need Values Change in the products?
This window means reconciling all your transaction data in the Change Values section. Suppose the user wants changes in Product Brand name, Product category, Marketing, and Manufacturing name. In the SwilERP Software, there is an option in the System menu to change the values of products. Follow the below-given instruction to change the values or names of the products.
Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
- Go to the System menu.
- Select System Maintenance > Reposting > Repost Receipt Entry.

How to change the Brand of the Product:
- After that System Maintenance window will appear.
- Go to the Change Values section.
- After that, select 'Brand In Product'.
- Enter the Present Value or (Brand name).
- Enter the New Value (Brand name) into which you want to change the name.
- Click on the Product Filter tab and select the product, you can here apply other filters also.
- After that, click on the Change tab.
- If the user wants to check brand name has changed or not, they can check it from the Product Master window.

How to change the Category of the Product:
- Firstly select the "Category in Product".
- Select Present Value from the drop-down list, and all the products will be shown according to the selected category.
- Select New Value from the drop-down list.
- Now, according to your requirement, select the product on which you want to change the category name.
- Click on the given Change option.
- After that, you will get a successful message.

How to change the Marketing of the Product:
- Select the "Marketing in Product".
- Select Present Value from the drop-down list.
- Select the New Value which you want to give from the drop-down list.
- Click on the Product Filter tab and select the product, you can here apply other filters also.
- After Click on the Change option.
- After that, you will get a successful message.

How to change Manufacturing of the Products:
- Select the "Manufacturing in Product".
- Select the Present Value or name of Manufacturing from the drop-down list.
- Select the New Value or name which you want to give.
- Click on the Product Filter tab and select the product, you can here apply other filters also.
- Now, click on the Change option.
