How to Change Values of Name to Print in SwilERP


Meaning of Name to Print

The name to print is meant to be for changing the product name for printing, i.e. product's display name. Users can set the name to print at their convenience. But the first thing that the user must do is change the product name definition. For example, you want to set the product display name in the sequence Product + Brand name or Brand name + Strength + Unit or Product + Strength + Unit.

To set the product name in sequence, go to the system parameter section and select the sequence. While opening the system parameter option, this option asks to enter the password. For this, you can enter contact your local service provider or make a ticket on Support.swildesk.com.

Start with Login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process

  1. Go to the System> System Maintenance> System Parameters.

  1. After that, System Parameter window will appear in the next slide.
  2. Go to the Product Information section.
  3. Tick-mark on the sequence of product names at your convenience.
  4. Save the window with the given option.

How to Change Values of Name to Print

  1. Go to the System> System Maintenance> Reposting>  Repost Receipt Entry> Change Values.

  1. After that, the System maintenance window will appear.
  2. Go to the Change Values section and select the Name to Print option.
  3. Click on the Product Filter option.
  4. Select the Product in which you want to change the print name of the product.
  5. After selecting products from the list, click on the Update option.
  6. After that, a notification of Update Name of Print Completed will appear.

Note: After changing name of print, this process is applied to your selected products in SwilERP Software.
