How to Create Account (Ledger A/c) in SwilERP


In SwilERP Software, the purpose of the creation of accounts (ledger) is to maintain records of any type of transactions concerning sales/ purchase/ debtors/ creditors, etc. Users have to create an account (ledger) for a particular transaction for only accounting purposes. Users create an account (ledger) from the master data in the accounts section. Follow the below-given steps to know the process.



Start with Login in SwilERP Dashboard to Initiate the Process

  1. Go to the Accounts> Master Data> Accounts.

How to view list of Ledger Accounts

  1. In the next slide you'll see the created system default Account (ledger) list.
  2. Users can Edit previously created accounts from the edit option.
  3. You can create New account from the given option.

How to Create New Ledger Account

  1. A new window of Accounts creation will appear in next slide.
  2. First, enter the Group name in which you want to update the account.
  3. Enter the account Name that you want to create.
  4. If you want give short name then enter the Alias in the column.
  5. If required, then fill the Address and Contact details.
  6. Tick mark on the options Apply TDS, Apply TCS, or Apply Cost Center as per requirement.
  7. Select the Stock Locations.

In the Additional Detail Tab
  1. Select the status as Continue or Discontinue.
  2. Here users can fill in License Details i.e. TIN, Drug Lic, Pan No, etc.
  3. Save the window with the given option.
