How to create a Generic name in SwilERP (RetailGraph)

What is a Generic Name? 

A Generic Name is "The Chemical name of a drug" this is a subsidiary name of the Brand name. Generic drug refers to a drug produced after the active ingredient of the brand-name drug. It has the same quality active ingredient as brand-name drugs. A generic name is the official non-proprietary name of a drug under which it is licensed and identified by the manufacturer.

In SwilERP, you can easily create a generic name and manage your product's salt data. This option is for the Pharmacy sector, and you can manage your medicine salt data product-wise. To create a generic name and define your salt data, follow the below-given instructions. 

Go to the Masters section in SwilERP: 
  1. Click on the INVENTORY> GENERIC.

Create Generic Name 

A new window of Generic name will appear in next page: 
  1. Click on the New tab to create generic name.  
  2. Enter the Name in generic name column. 
  3. Give a short or sub-name in Alias column. 
  4. Select or create a new Schedule of your product.
  5. And, Save the page. 
''For Example, Peracetam Tablets is a Generic Name and its schedule H prescription drug caution.''

How to create Generic Schedule Name 

A schedule indicates the product's drug name in which your product is prescribed. Go to the Masters data> Inventory> Generic Schedule, and click on the generic schedule option. After that, you'll see the list of created schedules. To create a schedule name, click on the New option and follow the below-given process: 
  1. Enter the Schedule Name which you want to create.
  2. Enter the Description name if you want to add in schedule name. 
  3. Schedule your Color with the given-option. 
  4. Save the page.

Schedule Color of your Product

Users can manage their products by scheduling color. This option is used for categorizing products and also viewing them by color. On the same window, click on schedule color, select the color you want to choose for the product, and press OK.
