Creating Tray and Status Masters in SwilERP

How to Create Tray & Status Masters in SwilERP Software


Tray Master:

Tray Master helps us organize and handle trays while picking orders in our business. It makes our work smoother and more efficient by managing how we use these trays. Basically, you can use this Tray Master feature with the SwilSORT and SwilPOS mobile applications.

Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:

    1. Go to the Masters menu.
    2. Select Inventory > Tray Master.

    Process to create Tray Master:

    1. To create a new Tray Master, click on the "New" button.
    2. Users can view all the created Tray Masters here.
    3. If users want to edit in the previously created Tray, they can do it with the Edit option.
    4. You can use Print and Delete options as per requirements.

    1. Tray Name: Enter the name of the tray.
    2. Tray Status: Update if the tray is vacant or occupied.
    3. Remarks: Add any additional notes or comments.
    4. To save the window click on the Save option.

    Status Master:

    Status Master is a tool that helps create and assign task statuses. Each status can have a name, a color, and a responsible employee. This system improves workflow management and communication within the organization. Status Master is used in the SwilSORT and SwilPOS mobile applications.
    1. Go to the Masters menu.
    2. Select Inventory > Status Master.

    Process to create Status Master:

    1. Here you will see all the by default created Status Masters.
    2. Click on the New button to create a new status master.
    3. As per your convenience, you can select Edit, Print, and Delete options.

    Status master
    1. Status Master Name: Enter the name of the status master you want to create.
    2. Category: Assign a category to the status for better organization and filtering.
    3. Next Step: Update the next step or action associated with the status for clear workflow management.
    4. Rack Group: Update the rack group details, if required.
    5. Tick mark the required fields:
      1. Tray required
      2. Auto Employee Assign
      3. Allow Print
      4. Error Handling
      5. Auto Merge
    6. Here, you can add a description of the status master.
    7. Status Color: Define a color for the status to easily identify and differentiate between various statuses.
    8. Assign Employees: Select specific employees who will handle further processing for this status, streamlining the workflow and responsibilities.
    9. After entering the all details, click on the Save option to save the details.
    Note: Only selected employee has access to both SwilPOS and SwilSORT mobile apps' Status Master features.
