What is a Database Health Maintenance System?
Database Health option is generally used when users face speed issues in the software. So with the help of this option, the user can reset the software configuration for a smooth run.
This feature enables you to free up space that is unnecessarily occupied by files . With just a tick mark, you can do it yourself. Earlier, this was done by the developer through the back-end. But now, the user can do it themselves. This saves your time to call the query desk and wait till developers resolve. In the SwilERP software there is an option called Database Health.
Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
- You can easily navigate to the option by using the following steps:
- Select the System > System Maintenance > Database Health.

Note:- (As soon as you click on the Database Health option the given below window will open and ask you for a password. The password will be like this H*****H. To know the complete password, the user can raise a ticket on http://www.swindia or contact the customer support team.)

Here you will see how Database Health window will work:-
1-) Check and Process:- In this option, you can check some key points. Check Queries for Last/ Check Database Integration/ Recompile Stored Procedure/ Indexing and Update Statistics/ Shrink Database and other options will be there.
2-) Change Settings :- You can check and reset the software with the options of Database Auto-Growth Size/ Database Auto close/ Memory Configuration/ Path of Temp Database, etc.
3-) Logs :- You can clear your logs history in this option.
In the above mentioned options, you need to mark that particular option which you want and click on the Process and Re-check button. It will start with a success message, as shown in the image.
