How to Delete Item/Product in SwilERP Software


In SwilERP software, deleting an item with transactions requires a two-step process. Users can only delete an item if it does not have any associated transactions. If an item has transactions, the user must delete those transactions first before deleting the item. Attempting to delete the item without deleting the transactions will result in an error, and the system will prevent the deletion of the item. This ensures data integrity and prevents accidental deletion of critical information.

Login SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process

  1. Go to the System> Master Data> Product Information> Product (Name Wise).
  2. After that, a new window of Product list will appear.

  1. Select or search the Product which you want to delete.
  2. For Example, you want to Delete the selected product below. (As you can see, the selected product of EVECARE SYRUP has no stock quantity)
  3. After selecting the product, click on the Edit option.

  1. After that the Product details window will open.
  2. Now just click on the Delete button.

  1. Now a delete conformation message will show.
  2. To continue press "Yes".
Note: If the product contains the transactions then firstly the user needs to delete all the transaction made with the product to delete the item.
