How to Delete an Item or Product in SwilERP

In SwilERP software, the user can only delete an item that does not contain any transaction in it. However, if the user needs to delete the item having a transaction, then firstly user needs to delete the transaction that has been made with the item, and only after that, it can be deleted. If you do not this and delete the product, then the system will show you an error and will not allow you to delete the item.

In this article we are going to show you how to delete an item on which does not have any transactions. To delete an item or product, the user will follow the below steps:

Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:

  1. Go to the Masters menu.
  2. Select the Inventory > Product.

  1. After that, the below window will appear.
  2. Select or search the Product which you want to delete.
  3. For example, we are going to delete below-selected product (As you can see the selected product of Milk Cream 200GM (100PCS) has no stock quantity).
  4. After selecting the product click on the Edit option.

  1. After that, the product details window will open.
  2. Now just click on the Delete button.

  1. Now a delete confirmation message will show.
  2. To continue press "Yes".
Note: If the product contains the transactions then firstly the user needs to delete all the transaction made with the product to delete the item.
