How to Update Discontinue Date in Banned Products
The Union health ministry on 12th September 2018 banned the manufacture, sale or distribution of 328 varieties of FDC drugs for human consumption. The action has been taken under Section 26A of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 with the help of the Drug Technical Advisory Board or DTAB.
In Unisolve / Cross we have explained you how to update Discontinue Date of these Discontinue Products in Master. For this we have provide an option “Update Banned Product (As on 12/09/2018)” in System-> Facilities-> Product menu. This option is very useful to update Discontinue Date in single key in all Banned Products. After this you can update Discontinue Date in all Product Master which you select. Image as per below:
When press on this option then software auto check Banned Products. We have provided this option & software search & show product list as per banned items. Software takes some time due to software check all banned products. Before update Discontinue date please check all products properly. After that you can select Product list which Banned & you want to update Discontinue Date in these all products. When you press OK then software auto update Discontinue Date in all Products.
