How to Update Revise MRP and Printed MRP in Purchase Bills in SwilERP

Update Revise MRP and Revise Printed MRP in Purchase Bill


After the GST 2.0 update, many businesses need to revise their product MRPs in purchase bills to ensure billing and compliance accuracy. SwilERP now provides two new options under the GST 2.0 menu that help you update both Revised MRP and Printed MRP as per purchase bills.

This process depends on whether your purchase bills were entered till 21st September (as per old GST slab) or entered from 22nd September (as per new GST 2.0 slab).

Option 1: Revise MRP in Purchase Bills Entered Till 21st September

  1. This applies to all vendor invoices with a date till 21st September.
  2. It is valid only for items where the Printed MRP is zero.
  3. Go to Options menu> GST 2.0.
  4. Click on the Revise MRP in Purchase bill option.

In this form, you will see two separate sections: the lower section is for filtering products and the upper section is for updating MRP.
  1. To filter the data:
    1. Select the From and To date.
    2. Choose the Vendor or Entry No. if required.
    3. Click the View button to display the data.
    4. Double click on the invoice, the data will appear in the upper section of the form.
  2. Here, you can view the MRP and Printed MRP of the products. Both fields are Editable, and you can make changes as needed.
    1. Revise MRP refers to the new MRP, while Printed MRP refers to the old MRP.
  3. To update, tick the checkbox in the Revise MRP or Revise Printed MRP column.
  4. Save the changes.

Option 2: Revise Printed MRP in Purchase Bills Entered From 22nd September

This applies to all new purchase bills received and entered from 22nd September as per the new GST 2.0 slab.
  1. Go to Options menu> GST 2.0.
  2. Click on the Revise printed MRP in Purchase bills option.

  1. To filter the data:
    1. Select the From and To date.

  1. Here, you can view the Printed MRP of the products. This is a Editable field, and you can make changes as needed.
  2. To update, tick the checkbox in the Revise Printed MRP column.
  3. Save the changes.
