Steps to Create a New Marketing Group in SwilERP

In the SwilERP software, the Group refers to the name of the manufacturing company for a particular product. For example, in the pharmacy sector, the product group name is entered as "Cipla" while creating a new product. In the Masters section, there is an option to view every Marketing Group name, and users can also create a new marketing group or edit an existing one based on their specific requirements. With this feature, users can easily manage their group list and organize products more efficiently.

Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
  1. Go to the Masters menu.
  2. Select  Inventory > Marketing Group.

In the next slide, you'll see the Group list:

  • Here displays a list of all existing groups.
  • To create a new group, click on the "New" option.
  • To edit an existing group, use the "Edit" tab.
  • Additional options such as print, delete, and refresh are also available for your convenience.

    To create a new Group:

  • Enter the name of your group in the "Name" field.
  • Provide a short name in the "Alias" column.
  • If required, select the Marketing Company associated with the group.
  • Fill in other details as per your requirements.
  • Click on the "Save" button to save the new group.
