How to Merge Products in SwilERP (RetailGraph) Software

Meaning of Merge Products? 

Merging products involves combining two products' data into one product. To combine or join products together, or cause things to do this, is meant by merging two products. For your understanding, here is the example: When you accidentally created one product with two different names. Then, you can merge these products by using this option. This process is very useful in those cases where a customer by-mistake makes one product with 2 different names. It can be in a branch or a single database; that doesn't matter. 

In RetailGraph, you can easily merge these products from the system maintenance section in system form. With this option, you have to choose an old product and a new product in which you want to merge the product. Do follow the below-given information to learn the process of merging products.


First, start with login in RetailGraph Dashboard to initiate the process 

  1. Go to the Options> System Maintenance

    How to Merge Products 

    1. A new window of System Maintenance will appear in the next slide.
    2. Go to the Merge Products option.
    3. First, click on the Set Products to Merge option.
    4. On the left side, in the Old Product column, you need to select the product which you want to merge.
    5. On the right side, select the original product name in the New Product column in which you want to merge.
    6. Click on the Save option to save the window.  
    As shown in the below-given image: 



    1. Go to the Merge Products tab to merge the products.
    2. Once you click on it, it will ask whether to proceed further or not.
    3. Click on the Yes button to proceed.

    2. A success message of Merge Completed will appear on the screen.
