If opening & closing stock value not showing/mismatched in P&L a/c and balance sheet, then how to resolve it?

Start with login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process

1. Go to the Reports Menu> Account Reports> Profit & loss Account.
   
2. After that, a new window of Profit and Loss account will appear.

1. Select the Date Range from which you want to view the closing stock.
   
2. Click on the View option.
   
3. After that, all data under the Selected Date Range will display on screen.
   
4. Now, if you want to see stock details, then click on the Closing Stock option.

How to Update Stock Details

1. A new window of Product Wise Current Stock Details will appear in the next slide.
   
2. The total stock details are shown in the Closing Stock column.
   

3. Here users can update the stock details according to the actual stock. (For example, display stock amount is 5000 & the actual stock is 4500, then user can enter the actual stock amount here)
   

4. Click on the Update Stock option to update it.
   

5. And the entered stock amount will be updated in the Profit & Loss account.

Note: Once you update the stock details in the profit & Loss account, it will be automatically updated in the Balance sheet.

1. Go to the Reports Menu> Account Reports> Balance Sheet.
   
2. After that, select As on Date.
   
3. Click on the View option and all data will displayed in the screen.
   
4. Here you will see updated Closing Stock.
   
5. Suppose you want to update stock directly from the balance sheet window. Then Closing stock option is also available here. Follow the same process as you followed in the P&L account.
