How to view Expiry Detail Report in SwilERP


What is Expiry Detail Report

The product expiry report helps the users to check expiration dates and if they are nearing the end of life. The users can customize this report either by date, product, manufacturer, or vendor. It shows stocks expiring within the given date range along with details like Product Name, Category, Marketing Group, Lot No, Exp Date, Stock details, and other details related to the products.

With the product expiry report, the user can see which products expire within a specified time. Users can also view categories data by selecting Category, MktgCo, Brand, Strength, Product, Generic, and Schedule.

Start with login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate process

  1. Go to the Reports> Inventory Reports> Expiry Detail

Process to view the Report

A new window of Expiry Detail will appear in the next slide. Follow the below-mentioned steps to view the report:
  1. Select the Date Range "From" to "To", in which you want to view the report.
  2. Users can also Filter the Product/Vendor/Manufacturer from the given options.
  3. Tick-Mark on the options, if required.
    1. Print Nil Stock Lots
    2. Print Lot wise detail
    3. Print Near expiry
  4. Users can also select the following options to view the details category wise:
    1. Category
    2. MktgCo
    3. Brand
    4. Strength
    5. Product
    6. Generic
    7. Schedule
  5. Click on the View tab.
  6. And, users can view the products details on the below-given screen.

How can you analyze product expiry report?

In this section, you can analyze your expiry detail report. You can find this report similar to the pivot table, in which you can view the stock details.
  1. Go to the Analysis section.
  2. Select the details as same as you selected in the Home section.
  3. Click on the View option.
  4. After that, Choose fields to add to report. Tick-mark on the options; then, they will automatically field in the below-given areas.
  5. You can also Drag fields between below-given four areas: Filter, Columns, Rows, Values.
  6. The data reflect in the Analysis Grid section.

  1. Click on the Chart  tab to view the report in chart format.
  2. Here you'll see the report's chart along with reflected every detail.

  1. You can also view the report in Raw Data, where you can find every detail.
  2. Click on the raw data and there you will see expiry report.

To Print and Preview the Report 

  1. Go to the Display section.
  2. Select the Print and Preview option to take printout of the report.

To export the file in excel format

  1. Go to the Display section.
  2. Click on the ''T'' button,  and there, you'll see the options to convert your report into an excel file.
