How To View Purchase Analysis Report: Product Day Wise/Month Wise/Product Wise/Product Supplier Rate Wise/Product Type Wise 


Meaning of Product Wise Purchase Analysis Report.

The purchase analysis report details the costs of purchasing every product during a given period. Use this report to view the Product name, Group (Marketing Company) name, Quantity, Free Qty, etc, for every product purchased over the reporting period.


In the SwilERP software, there is an option to view the Purchase Analysis Reports of the Product Wise. In this article, the users can see how to view the analysis reports of Product Day Wise/ Product Month Wise / Product Wise/ Product Supplier Rate Wise/ Product Type Wise.


Start with Login In the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:-

  1. Go to the Analysis section.
    1. Select Purchase Analysis (Old) > Product Wise.
    2. Select the report whose Product Wise Report you want to view.

1-) How to view the Product/Day Wise Analysis Report:

  1. Go to the Area Product section.
  2. Enter the Date Range 'From to To.'
  3. Select Day Wise in the Report Type option.
  4. If required, then select the Series.
  5. Select and apply a filter in the Product/Sales Person/Vendor tab.
  6. If required, select the Invoice Attribute.
  7. Click on the View tab.

How to view the report in Chart form:

  1. Select the Area-Product section.
  2. Click on the Chart tab.
  3. Inside the Chart tab, given many Charts options, select that chart form you require.

How to Print and Preview this Report:

  1. Go to the Display tab.
  2. Click on the Print and Preview tab to take the printout of this report.

How to export the report into Excel and other formats:

  1. Go to the Display tab.
  2. Click on the 'T' point and select the format in which you export your report.

2-) How to view the Product/Month Wise Analysis Report:

  1. Go to the Area-Product section.
  2. Select the Date Range till which you want to view the report.
  3. Select the Report Type as 'Month Wise'. If you want to view the report in Quarterly, Day Wise, Summary, etc., you can see it also.
  4. If required, then select the Series of purchase transactions.
  5. If the user wants to apply the filter in the report, then select the Product/Sales Person and Vendor tab and use all the required filters.
  6. Select the Invoice Attribute tab, as per the requirement.
  7. Now, click on the View tab.

How to view the report in Chart form:

  1. Go to the Area-Product section.
  2. Click on the Chart tab and select the chart form which you want.

How to Print and Preview the report:

  1. Go to the Display tab.
  2. Click on the Print and Preview tab to take the print.

How to export the Report into Excel format:

  1. Select the Display tab.
  2. Click on the 'T' point and select the export format which you want.

3-) How to view the Product Wise Analysis Report:

  1. Go to the Area- Product section.
  2. Enter the Date-Range 'From to To'.
  3. Select the Report Type in which you want to view the Report.
  4. If required, then select the Series.
  5. As per the requirement, choose and apply a filter in the Product/Sales Person/Vendor tab. 
  6. Select the Invoice Attribute, if required.
  7. Click on the View tab.

How to convert the report into Chart form:

  1. Select the Area-Product section.
  2. To convert the report into Chart form, click on the Chart option on top of the left side.

How to Print/Preview and export the report:

  1. Go to the Display section.
  2. To take the printout, click on the Print & Preview tab.
  3. And to export the report into excel and other formats, click on the 'T' point.
  4. Inside the 'T' point, there are many export options, select in which you want to export your report.

4-) How to view the Product Supplier Rate Wise Analysis Report:

  1. Go to the Product-Area section.
  2. Select the Date Range till which you want to view the data.
  3. Select the Report Type in which you want to view the Report, for example- Quarterly, Day Wise, Month Wise, Cumulative, Detail.
  4. As per the requirement, select the Series of the purchase transaction.
  5. If the users want to apply the filter to view the data of a particular vendor, product, or salesperson, select the Product/Sales Person and Vendor tab and apply all the required filters.
  6. If required, select the Invoice Attribute.
  7. Click on the View tab, and the Report will generate.

How to convert the report into Chart form:

  1. Select the Area-Product section.
  2. To convert the report to Chart form, click on the Chart tab and select the Format you want.

How to Print/Preview and export the report:

  1. Go to the Display section.
  2. To take the printout, click on the Print & Preview tab.

5-) How to view the Product Type Wise Analysis Report:

  1. Go to the Area-Product section.
  2. Select the Date -Range.
  3. Select the Report Type according to the requirement.
  4. If required, then select the Series.
  5. Users can apply the filter in the Product, Sales Person and Vendor tab if required.
  6. Select the Invoice Attribute, if required.
  7. Click on the View tab.

How to view the report in Chart format:

  1. To view the report in chart form, follow the below-given steps:-
  1. Select the Area-Product section.
  2. Select data or any column to convert the report.
  3. Then click on the Chart option.

To Print, Preview and convert the report into Excel format:

  1. Go to the Display tab.
  2. Click on the Print and Preview tab to print your report.
  3. Click on the 'T' point, then select an option from the below list to export your report.
  4. The Export oprions are Excel, PDF, HTML, RTF, and XML format.
