How to Recover by Default Deleted Bills in SwilERP Software
This article explains how we can recover bills which are deleted by default. The reason why we need to recover bills occurs when a bill of any supplier or customer has been misplaced or deleted by mistake. This creates problems in the supplier's or customer's outstanding invoice amount & filing of GST returns as they mismatch while filling it. In SwilERP, there is an option of "Transaction Log". This option allows users to quickly recover the bills which are deleted by default. Do follow the below-mentioned steps to learn the process.
In this article, we take the example of how to recover deleted sales bills in SwilERP.
Start with Login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process
- Go to the Sales Menu> Retail Invoice.
- After that, a Retail Sales Invoice window will appear.

- Here, you can create a new sales invoice or can select the previously created invoice.
- For example, you selected a previously created sales invoice from the above given previous option.
- And, Deleted the sales invoice from the delete button.
- A confirmation notification will appear, press Yes to continue.

Here you will see the sales invoice deleted successfully. And now, you want to recover deleted sales invoice, then follow the below-given steps. Before starting the process make sure you disable the option of "Lock Manually Entry No" in Series.
How to Disable Lock Manually Entry No option
- Go to the System> Master Data> Series.
- Then, select the Sales Invoice Series in which you created sales bill.
- Click on the Edit option and go to the Additional Details.
- Disable the option of Lock manually entry no.
- And, Save the window.

- Go to the Administrator Menu> View Transactions Log.
- A new window of View Transaction Log will appear in the next slide.

Set Parameters for Recovering Bills
- Select the Date Range "From" to "To" in which your invoice was created.
- If you want to view details according to the selected options, then select the options as follows:
- Last User
- User
- Product
- You can also select and filter the Series from the given option.
- Select Last Modify Date "from" to "to", if needed.
- Click on the View option.

- Now, Double Click on the bill which you want to recover.
- After that, a Sales Invoice window will appear.
- Go to the View tab and there you will see Copy to New option.
- Click on the Copy to New option to recover the invoice.

- After that, you will see a copy of sales invoice window.
- Select Customer Name & enter the Entry Number in the column.
- Click on the Save button.
