How to Add Sales Promotion in SwilERP (RetailGraph)
What does mean by Sales Promotion?
Sales promotion is a marketing strategy to boost sales and increase demand for a product or service. It involves the use of various promotions such as discounts, free qty, free points, trade discounts, etc, to encourage customers to make a purchase.
In SwilERP, there is an option of sale promotion offers for customers to buy products. With this option, the supplier can create promotional offers on their products and give them different offers.
Multiple promotion offers in SwilERP are given to customers:
- Free Products
- Free Points
- Free Qty
- Lot Discount
- Lot Discount (%)
- Scheme Discount (Rs/Unit)
- Scheme Discount %
- Trade Discount %
Here are the steps to create a sale promotion, do follow the below-given instructions:
Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
- Go to the Masters menu.
- Select the Others > Sale Promotion option.

- After this, the below window will appear; select the New tab to add a new promotion.
- You will see all the promotional details that you have created.
- Users can also Edit / Print and Delete the previously created promotions.

Process to add a Sale Promotion:
- The first step is to choose the date "From to To" which you want to apply for the promotion.
- In the Time option, You can also set from what time to when the promotion is to be applied.
- Enter the Name of your promotion.
- If you want to give a promotion to a particular customer, select Customer Name, or if you apply for a promotion on every customer, then there is no need to select the customer name.
- Now, select the promotion on Product, Product(Multiple), Invoice Value, Marketing Group, Product Category, Brand, etc. Users can choose it from the drop-down list.
- An important part is to select the promotional offers that you want to give from the drop-down list. (Free Products, Free Qty, Lot Discount, Lot Discount (%), Scheme Discount (%)).
- Suppose select the Free quantity in the promotion field.
- Enter the Qualifying quantity on which you want to give an offer and also select the Qualifying Unit as Pcs/Pack.
- Add a free quantity of Products that will be given to the customers.
- The last step is to click on the Save tab, and the promotion will be added.
