How to Create Sales Promotion in SwilERP Software


What does mean by sales promotion?

A sales promotion is a marketing strategy in which a business uses an offer to increase interest or demand in its product. There are many reasons why a business may choose to use a sales promotion, but the primary reason is to boost sales. To increase the products sales a business man used the sale promotion option.

In SwilERP, sale promotion is an offer for customers to buy products. With this, supplier can create promotional offers on their products, and also give different types of offer to them.
There are 5 types of promotional offers in SwilERP, that is given to customers.
  1. Free Products
  2. Free Qty
  3. Lot Discount
  4. Lot Discount (%)
  5. Scheme Discount (%)


Here are the steps to create sale promotion, do follow the below-given instructions

Start with login in SwilERP Dashboard to Initiate the Process

  1. Go to the System>Master Data> Product Information> Sale Promotion.

How to view created sale promotions

  1. A new window of sale promotion creation will appear in next slide.
  2. There you'll see all the promotion details that you're created.
  3. Users can also Edit the previously created promotions.
  4. Go to the New option to create promotion.

Create new sale promotion

  1. The First step is choose date From to To, in which you want to apply the promotion.
  2. Enter the Name of your promotion.
  3. If you want to give promotion to a particular customer then select Customer Name or if you apply promotion on every customer then, there is no need to select the customer name.
  4. Now, select the promotion apply on Product, Product(Multiple), Marketing Group, Product Category, Brand etc. Users can select it from the drop-down list.
  5. Important part is select the promotion offers that you want to give from the drop-down list. (Free Products, Free Qty, Lot Discount, Lot Discount (%), Scheme Discount (%)).
  1. For Example, You choose the free quantity promotion:
  2. Enter the Quantity on which you want to give offer and also select the product's Unit.
  3. Add free quantity of product, that will given to the customers.
  4. If you want to give promotion on a particular product then, select the Product from the drop-down list.
  5. Last step, Save the Page.
