How to Search Tax Payer by GSTIN in SwilERP Software
What is GSTIN?
A goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) is a 15-digit number given in an applicant's registration certificate. This number is given once his application for the grant of GST registration is approved. Furthermore, this number is made available to the applicant on the common portal once GST registration gets completed.
SwilERP has a feature of Search Tax Payer, in which users can find every detail of the taxpayer according to the entered GSTIN. Also, users can update the correct information in software from the same window. Follow the below process to how can you search the tax payer details through the GSTIN.
Note: Before doing this process, your SwilERP software should be updated to the new version.
Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
- Go to the GST menu.
- Select the Search Tax Payer.

- Now, enter the GSTIN.
- Click on the Search button.
- After entering the GSTIN, all the details related to the taxpayer will appear in the below-given columns.

- If users want to update details of tax payer, you can do it here.
- To save the updated details, click on the Update button.
