How to do Shelf Management in SwilERP (RetailGraph)
Definition of shelf management
SwilERP provides the shelf management option for their customers. It is a practice of maintaining the inventory stock in an organized way. Now, we have a software system to manage the shelves and handle your stock. With this, you can also add stock location against your product.
Shelf management is managing existing shelf space to stock products more efficiently. Shelf stock offers various supports in Category Management, from analysing stock data to focusing on inventory. In SwilERP, you can manage your stock Brand, Salt, and Category wise and also add Case Lot, Box Size along with Shelf number.
Below is the process that needs to be followed to manage your shelf in SwilERP software:
Start with Login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process
- Go to the Master data> Inventory> Product.

A product list window will appear in the next slide, where you can create a new product or edit the previous one. For example, to update the shelf number, you select the product from the list and go to the edit option:
In the Product Details Window
Go to the Product tab.Here you'll see the option to enter the Shelf number.
You can also fill the Case lot and Box size of the product.
Enter details in the Dialog box.
How to Select Stock Location
Users can also select the stock location while creating or editing the product.
- Go to the Additional Details tab.
- Here you'll see Stock Location option.
- Select the Stock Location from the drop-down list.
- After fill in details Save the window with the given option.
