How to View Trading Account Report in SwilERP (RetailGraph)


A trading account assesses a business's gross profit or loss stemming from buying and selling endeavors. It efficiently calculates this outcome, primarily derived from trading activities. In SwilERP, effortlessly access Trading Accounts within the Reports section. This resource facilitates reviewing profit/loss trends and comparing previous year's sales and purchase analysis. Follow the outlined steps to seamlessly view the trading account.

Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select Account Reports > Trading Account.

How to view Trading Account details:

  1. Go to the Home tab.
  2. Select the Date Range 'From to To" where you want to view the trading account details.
  3. Tick mark on the ''Last year comparison'', if needed.
  4. To view the Closing Balance, click on it.
  5. Click on the View option.

With this, you can view the following details:

In Expenses section:
  1. Opening Stock Value-  Show the amount of opening stock in this section. 
  2. Purchase Account- Here you can view the purchase transactions amount.
  3. Gross Profit- In the case of Gross profit, it will show in this section.
In Income section:
  1. Sales Account- Here you can view the sales transaction amount.
  2. Closing Stock Value-  Show the amount of closing stock in this section.
  3. Gross Loss- In the case of Gross Loss, it will show in this section.

How to Print/Preview and export report into Excel format:

In SwilERP, there is also an option to export statements in Excel format. Users can easily export reports in an Excel file with the export file option. Do follow the below-given steps:
  1. Go to the Display section.
  2. To take the printout, click on the Print and Preview tab.
  3. To export the Trading account details, click on the 'T' point.
