How to Update HSN Code in Product Through SwilERP
What is an HSN Code?
HSN code stands for “Harmonized System of Nomenclature” This system has been introduced for the systematic classification of goods worldwide. With SwilERP, users can use this option if they want to update the HSN Code on selected products simultaneously. After that, you don't need to update the HSN code in products separately.
In SwilERP, there is an option to update HSN code on selected products. Users can do this from GST Updates section in the system maintenance form.
Start with login in SwilERP Dashboard to initiate the process
- Go to the System> System Maintenance> Reposting> Repost Receipt Entry

How to Update HSN Code in Product
- Go to the GST Update section and click on the Update HSN Code in Product option.
- Select the HSN/ SAC Code from the drop-down list.
- Click on the Product Filter to select the product in which you want to update the HSN Code.
- After that, all your selected products will appear in the below-given Name and HSN Code columns.
- Click on the Update button.

- A notification window will appear to give you a warning message, press Yes to continue the process.
- After that, you will get a Success Alert message.

Note: After updating the HSN code in product, this is applied to the selected product.
