How to update Tax in Category through System Maintenance feature
You can update the Tax in the Product's Category through the 'System Maintenance' option. When the user wants to change the Sales Tax and Purchase Tax in the product's categories, the SwilERP software has an option of 'Tax in the Category' in the System Maintenance window. With this option, you can select the tax category (Purchase Tax/Sales Tax) from present value to new value.
Start with Login in the RetailGraph dashboard to initiate the process:
- Go to the System > System Maintenance
- Then select the Reposting > Repost Receipt Entry.
Reference Window:
Follow the below process to change the Tax in the Category:
- Choose the Purchase or Sale Tax option, in which Category you want to change Tax.
- Select the Present Value of Tax from the drop-down list.
- Select the New Value of Tax you want to give instead of the present value.
- Click on the Filter Category and apply a filter accordingly.
- To change into New Value, click on the Change tab.
- If you want to update the same tax value in the products, tick the mark in the given check box of 'Update In Product.'
