How to Assign Roles and Permissions While Creating a User in SwilERP
In SwilERP software, "Create User" typically refers to the process of adding a new user account to the system. This user account allows an individual to log in to the SwilERP software with specific credentials, such as a username and password, and access the features and functions of the software.
Once a user account has been created, the individual can log in to the SwilERP software and perform various actions, such as managing inventory, processing sales transactions, generating reports, and more, depending on the specific permissions assigned to their account.
Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
Go to the Masters Menu.
Select the Resources > User option.

You can Edit/Print and Delete the existing users' details if required.
To create a user, click on the New tab.

Enter the User Login ID and Password that's also your user credential.
Again enter the same password in Confirm Password field.
In the Type column, select an Employee option.
Select the Employee's name.
Enter the Expiry Date of the user.
Now, select the user's Role, or you can also create it manually.
Select the Branch for which the user is being created.
Enter the user's Email id & Mobile number.
Select the user Status as Active.
Tick Mark on the Locations where you want to give the rights to view the stock.

Now, Save the page with the given option.
