Explore SwilERP (RetailGraph) Ribbon Functionality: A Quick Guide


What is Ribbon?

Ribbons are the modern way to help users find, understand, and use commands efficiently and directly with a minimum number of clicks, with less need to resort to trial-and-error and without having to refer to Help. Using a ribbon increases the discoverability of features and functions, enables quicker learning of the program and makes users feel more in control of their experience with the program. The ribbons feature in transaction tabs at the top of a window. 

Here is the process to view uses of ribbons
  1. Go to the Starts> Choose any transaction (In this article, we will choose sales transaction)
  2. Here you'll see all Ribbons at the top of a window.

Home Ribbon

In the Home tab, you will see following options:
  1. New: To create a new invoice, click on the new tab.
  2. Save: This option is used for save the window.
  3. Print: To print the invoice.
  4. Draft: To draft the invoice.
  5. Cancel Changes: Cancel the change.
  6. Shipping Details: You can select shipping details from this option, in which you've to fill in E-way bills detail.
  7. Payment Details: From this option, you can select the Payment details according to payment type. (Cash, Credit, Cheque, Card)
  8. Tax Details: You can select tax details of product from this option.
  9. Promotion Details or Apply promotion: Select and apply promotion on products from these options.
  10. Add/Less: You can select Billing Head from this option.
  11. Adjust Return: This option is for GST transactions.
  12. Clear Challan/Order: From this, you can view pending orders and challan list.

Home Ribbon

View Ribbon

In the View tab, you will see following options:
  1. Preview:  From this option, you can preview the invoice.
  2. Print Barcode/ Options: To print barcode options are visible here.
  3. Header Layout: From this option, you can set header layout of invoice.
  4. Grid Layout: Users can add and remove columns at per their convenience.
  5. Ribbon Layout: You can set ribbon layout.
  6. Save Layout: After changes save the layout.
  7. Find:  To find the product.
  8. Copy to new: To copy in new window.  
  9. Previous/ Next: To view the previous or next created invoice. 
  10. Browse: To view Month wise, Current year, Date wise, Party wise, Entry wise, and Last 7 days invoice data. 
  11. Series: From this option, you can filter the series.

View Ribbon

History Ribbon

In the History tab, you will see following options: 
  1. Customer History: You can view customer history from this option.
  2. Customer/Product History: You can view customer/product history from this option.
  3. Purchase/ Product History: From here you can view purchase / product history. 
  4. Sales/ Product History: From here you can view sales / product history.

Review Ribbon 

In this, you can view the following details: 
  1. Batch/color/MRP wise details. 
  2. Change bill Amount: From this option you can change the bill amount. 
  3. Change tax type: From this option you can change the tax type. 
  4. Change Lot Discount: Change lot discount from this option. 
  5. Change Trade/ Scheme Discount: Change these discount from this option.  
  6. Change Rate Hike: You can change rate hike as per your convenience.

References Ribbon

In this, you can view the following details:
  1. Rate List: To view the rate list.
  2. Product Info: To view product information. 
  3. Generic search: To search with generic name. 
  4. Reset order references

Options Ribbon

  1. Export to Excel: To export the file into excel. 
  2. System Maintenance: This window is also visible in ribbon.
  3. Log reports: To view the log reports.
  4. Send SMS/ Email: By this you can share sms and email.  
  5. Export/ Import data: This option is also visible in the report. 
  6. Detail search: You can search the details from this option.
  7. Entry Log: You view the report from this option.
  8. Query Designer, Input Tax Credit, Warranty Coupon, Get Purchase List, these option are also available in this window.

Master Data Ribbon 

In this, you can view the following options: 
  1. Billing Head: From this, you can view the billing head. 
  2. Customer: You can view the customer details.
  3. Refer by: You can also view refer by details. 
  4. Tax category: Tax category option are also available.
  5. Transaction series: From this option, you can view transaction series.
  6. Vendor: View vendor wise details with this option.
