Products don't always sell as quickly as expected by businesses. Some items that stay in the store for too long because of consumers' lack of interest and other reasons are called Excess Stock. In SwilERP, users have to view the reports of Excess Stocks compared with the Given Quantity/Last Sale/Maximum Sale.
- Go to Reports > Inventory Details > Excess Stock.
- Select that report whose Excess Stock Report you want to view.
- To view the Report, follow the given steps:-
- Go to the Home section.
- Enter the Date Range 'From to To'.
- In Generate Basis section, select any from the Max Stock/ Sales.
- Tick mark on Current Stock or Include Nil Stock .
- If you want to apply filters in your Report, you can click on the Product tab/Manufacture tab and use all the filters.
- Select the below-given options if the user wants to view other additional details in the Report:
· Category
· Marketing company
· Brand
· Product
· Schedule
Click on the View Chart tab.
- Go to the Home section.
- Click on the Chart tab and select the type of chart which you want to convert into your report.
- Go to the Display section.
- Click on the Preview tab to view your report's appearance when printed.
- To take a printout, click on the Print tab.
To export report into Excel format:-
Select the Display Section.
Click on the 'T' point.
And select the export option in which you want to export your report.
- Firstly Go to the Home section.
- Select the Date from which you want to view the Report.
- Choose any option in Generate Basis as per the requirement.
- Select and filter in the Product and Manufacture tab, if required.
- Select the below-given options if the user wants to view other additional details in the Report:
· Category
· Marketing company
· Brand
· Product
· Schedule
- Click on the View tab.
How to view the report in Chart form:
- If the user wants to view the report in chart form, then they have to follow the below-given steps:-
- Select the Home section.
- Select data or any column to view the report in chart form.
- Click on the View tab.

Preview and Print report:
- To preview and Print the report, follow the below-given steps:-
- Go to the Display section.
- And then, select the option of Preview and Print to print your report.

Export Report Into Excel & PDF format:
- From the Display Section.
- Click on the ' T ' point.
- To convert a report into Excel, PDF, Text, XML , etc. Click on the ' T ' option.

- Go to the Home section.
- Enter the Date Range 'From' to 'To'.
- In Generate Basis , choose the option in which you want to view details in your report.
- Tick mark in the check box of Deduct Current Stock and Include Nil Stock .
- Select and Filter in the Product and Manufacture tab if the user wants to view the filtered report.
- Select the below-given options if the user wants to view additional details in the report-
· Category
· Marketing Company
· Brand
· 'Product'
· Generic
· Schedule
· Strength
- Click on the View tab. Screen as per below-
- Go to the Home section.
- Select report data or any column to convert the report into chart form.
- Click on the Chart tab.
- There will be many options inside the Chart tab, for example, Palette, Show Title, Show Grid lines, Totals only etc. You can select these options as per your requirement.

- To take the printout and preview of this report:-
- Go to the Display section.
- Click on the Preview and Print tab to take the printout of this report.
- From the Display section.
- Click on the ' T ' point and select the export type which you want.
