What are Purchase Challan and Purchase Challan Report?

Purchase Challan:- A Purchase Challan is an invoice issued by the buyer to a vendor for purchasing products. After creating challan products will automatically be added to stock. This is a non-accounting invoice. If a user wants to do an accounting of these stocks, then they have to Clear Challan in the purchase invoice.

Party Product Wise Purchase Challan Report:- When a user wants to view all details of the purchase challan then users can generate and view the purchase challan report easily in SwilERP. In this report, users can view the details of vendors' names, and products' names with their quantity and amount. 



Open SwilERP dashboard:- 
  1. Go to the Reports section:

  • Purchase Reports > Party Product Wise Challan List.

How to view the report:

  • Follow the below-given steps to view the report:-

  • Go to the Area Product section.

  • Select the Date Range 'From' to 'To'.

  • In Report Type, the user will select the options as per the requirement i.e. summary, detail, month-wise, day-wise, monthly, quarterly, and cumulative.

  • Select Series Type.

  • In Product/Sales Person and Vendor select and apply the filter as per the users' requirements.

  • Select Invoice Attribute if required.

  • Then click on 'View'.

 After following the above steps, the party product-wise challan list, and the report will get displayed.

How to view the report in Chart:

  1. How to convert a report into a chart form:-

  • Select data or any column for the Chart.

  • Click on the Chart tab.

How to Print and Preview report:

  1. To Print and Preview report:-
     If you want to see how your report will appear when printed, and how to take out the printout of report please go               through these steps:-

  • Go to the Display Section.

  • Click on Preview and Print tab.

How to export report:

  1.  To Export report into Excel format:-

  • After generating the report go to the Display section.

  • ​Click on the "T'' point and you can select any option i.e. Excel, Text, PDF, HTML format.
