How to view Profit and Loss Account in SwilERP
The profit and loss account in SwilERP provides users with a comprehensive view of a company's financial performance over a specific period. This feature displays revenue, expenses, and net profit or loss, allowing businesses to assess their profitability. Users can easily access the expenses and income sections to analyze details such as gross profit, net profit, net loss, and other crucial financial indicators. SwilERP simplifies the process of monitoring and evaluating financial performance through its profit and loss account functionality.
Start with Login in SwilERP Dashboard to Initiate the process
- Go to the Accounts> Statement> Profit and Loss Account.

A new window P&L a/c will appear in the next slide. As per your transactions in SwilERP, you can view the details of profit or loss.
- Enter the Date Range from where you want to view details.
- Tick mark on the last year comparison, if you want to view comparison between both years.
- Click on the View option.

Profit and Loss Account Window Users can view following details in this window- InDirect Expenses: All the transactions in Indirect expense are shown in this column (You can view all entries under indirect expense by double-click on it)
- Net Profit: You can view the profit in this column; if you are in a profit situation.
- Gross Profit: Details of gross profit are also visible in this column.
- Net Loss: You can view the loss in this column; if you are in a loss situation.

Details Window View Closing Stock Details
- Go to the Closing Stock tab and double-click on it.
- A new pop-up window of Product wise current stock details will appear in next slide.
- Here you can view Products' name, Current stock, Stock as on, Rate, Stock Value details along with their total amount.
- Users can also view following details:
- Account name
- Stock location
- Closing Stock as on 31st March
- Closing Stock as on current date
- Branch name
- Grand total amount
