How to Start Free Reward Points Scheme for Customers in SwilERP (RetailGraph)


Free points are a sales promotion marketing strategy for a business to increase interest or demand for a Product. Many segments, such as Departmental stores, Pharma, Garments, Wholesale distribution, etc., may use a sales promotion to give customers free points, but the primary reason is to boost sales. A businessman uses the free points sales promotion scheme to increase product sales.


 If the supplier/Vendor wants to start Free Points promotional offers on their products, they can do it in the SwilERP software. This article will show you how to apply for a Free Points promotion scheme for a particular customer or all customers.


Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:


Step 1:  How to apply the Free Reward Points Scheme:

  1. Go to the Masters menu.
  2. Select Others > Sales Promotion.

  1. After that below window appears; select the New tab to add a new promotion.
  2. You will see here all the promotional details that you have created.
  3. Users can also Edit / Print and Delete the previously created promotions.

  1. The First step is to choose the date 'From to To'.
  2. In the Time option, you can also set the time. And promotion applied accordingly.
  3. Enter the Name of your promotion.
  4. Suppose you want to give a promotion to a particular customer, select a Customer Name, or apply for a promotion for every customer; in that case, there is no need to choose the customer name.
  5. Select the Location and Refer By, and the promotion will be applied accordingly.
  6. Now, select the Invoice Value in Apply On the field.
  7. Enter the Qualifying Amount on which you want to give an offer. (For example, entered the Qualifying Amount of Rs 100/-)
  8. In the Promotion section, select the promotional offers as Free Points.
  9. Enter the Free Points Value, (For example, the customer will get 1 free point on sales of Rs 100/-)
  10. And then click on the Save button.

 Step 2: Auto-apply Free Rewards points scheme in the Transaction Series.

  1. Go to the Masters menu.
  2. Select the Others > Transaction Series option.

  1. After that Transaction Series window will appear.
  2. Select the Sales Invoice series in this window and click on the Edit tab.

  1. Go to the Additional Details section.
  2. Check Mark in the Auto Apply Promotion option.
  3. Now to save the window, click on the Save button.
