How SwilERP (RetailGraph) Users Can Redeem Free Reward Points


Once a certain number of points are accumulated, a vendor can redeem these points to avail of rebates and discounts to the customers for their purchases.
In this article, you will see how a vendor or SwilERP software users can redeem customers' free reward points through the SwilERP software. Following the below steps to learn the process of how can a vendor redeem free Reward Points at the creation of Sales Bills.

Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:

Step 1-  Create a Billing Head:

  1. The first step would be creating a billing head for Free Points.
  1. Go to the Masters menu.
  2. Select Others  > Billing Head.

  1. After that below window appears; select the New tab to add a new Billing Head.
  2. You can view here all the billing heads that you have created.
  3. Users can also Edit / Print and Delete the previously created billing heads.

  1. After Clicking on the New tab below window appears.
  2. Enter Billing Head name which you want to give.
  3. Select the Account Name in which you want to do the posting of this head or you can create a new account with the selecting 'New' option.
  4. In Add & Less field select the 'Less' option.
  5. In Rate In field select the Rs. from the drop-down list.
  6. To save the window click on the Save button.

Step 2- Enable the option in the System Default Window:

  1. Go to Options > System Default.

  1. A Password Verification window will open.
  2. Enter the password to open the system default window. To know the password contact to your local service provider or make a ticket on swil.support.com.
  3. Go to the RetailGraph Settings section.
  4. In Billing Head for Redemption of Points, select the Free Points (that you created previously for free reward points).
  5. Click on the Save option.

Note:  After doing the system default settings you have to log out your software and login again.

Step 3-  How to Redeem Free Reward Points 

  1. Go to Sales > Sales Invoice.

  1. Select the Customer name whose sales bill you created while applying for the Free Rewards Points Promotions.
  2. After selecting the customer name, you can see Customer Points at the top of the screen.

  1. Select the Product for which you want to create a sales bill.
  2. Select Batch no of the product and enter the selling Quantity of product.

  1. Go to the Add/Less option.
  2. Select the Billing Head name that you created for free points.
  3. After selecting it, you will see the Points Amount of selected customer.
  4. Here you can edit the amount of points according to how many points you want to redeem while creating a sales invoice. (For example, you want to redeem 200 customer points instead of 2200 points).
  5. Press OK to continue.

  1. After that, you will see the bill amount will automatically be adjusted according to entered free customer points.
