How to Backup and Secure Data in SwilERP


What is data backup?

Data backup is the process of copying essential data to a secondary location for protection against data damage. SwilERP software offers reliable solutions to backup crucial business data, ensuring its preservation and security.


Types of Data Backup

In SwilERP, there are three backup options available:
  1. Daily Backup
  2. Monthly Backup
  3. Hard Disk Backup

Start with Login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process

  1. Go to the System>Data Backup> Daily> Monthly> Hard Disk Backup.

How to Take Daily Backup

If a user wants to take a daily backup of data, then they can take it from this option. The system will generate a zip file of your data. These are the following steps that you needs to follow:
  1. Go to the Daily Backup Data.
  2. Click on it, and a Confirmation Notification will appear in the next window.
  3. Press Yes to continue.

  1. After that a window of select the path to Save your backup data will appear.
  2. Choose a path, and give a name to Save your file.
  3. The system will generate a Zip file containing the backup data.
  4. Extract the zip file to access the backup data.

Note: Repeat the same process for monthly and hard disk backups.
