How to Configure Database Setting in Swil Admin


The first step to start working in the admin portal is database configuration. Users must update their server & database setting in Admin portal for data transferring. Database configuration is a critical process that enables data to be transferred between Swil Admin and your server. Users can access the admin portal easily from any location.

Start with login in Admin portal to initiate the process

Login in Swil Admin with your login credentials. To know how to get login credentials, checkout the reference link.

How to Update Database Setting

  1. A new window of home screen "Admin Panel" will appear.
  2. Click on the Settings> Database Settings.

  1. Enter your Server Name in the column.
  2. Enter Database Name which you want to connect.
  3. Add your User Name & Password in the columns.
  4. The Domain Name column is utilized for entering a Dynamic IP address in the database configuration when specifically required.
  5. Upon clicking "Update Connection," your configuration process will be successfully completed.

Note: After completing the above process, the server connection will be established successfully. Users can now access SwilERP, SwilPOS, SwilSORT, and SwilDISPATCH.

Access mobile apps & desktop software directly

Directly redirect to mobile apps and download desktop software from the Swil Admin.
  1. Go to the Swil Admin dashboard window.
  2. You will see Apps section at screen bottom.
  3. Desktop software can be downloaded from the provided download icon by users.
  4. SwilSORT, SwilERP Web, SwilPOS, and SwilDISPATCH redirection icons displayed on screen.
