How to Apply Free Reward Points Sales Promotion in SwilERP


What is Free Points?

Reward point-based promotions are used for promoting sales in pharma retail businesses. Each time a buyer makes a purchase from the business, they receive reward points, and upon receiving a certain amount of points, they can be exchanged for discounts.

A sales promotion is a marketing strategy where pharma businesses use different promotions and schemes. The Free Points promotion is one of them to give customers free points while they purchase the products. The Free points promotion works by offering some points with the purchase of a larger quantity. 

Benefits of Free Reward Points
 
In SwilERP, Once a certain number of reward points are accumulated, customers/patient can redeem them to avail of rebates and discounts on their purchases. Software Users can use this option to boost their sales by giving free reward points to customers.

Start with Login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process

  1. Go to the System> Master Data> Product Information> Sale Promotion.

Process to Create Free Rewards Points Sales Promotion

  1. A new window of Sale Promotion will appear in the next slide.
  2. Here you will see all created promotions in the screen.
  3. Click on the New tab to create a promotion of free reward points.

  1. Enter the Name of promotion which you want to create. (For example, you entered "Free Points" as a promotion name) 
  2. If you want to apply promotion to an particular customer then select the Customer Name from the drop-down list.
  3. Select the option from the drop-down list as "Invoice Value," in which the promotion will "Apply on."
  4. If you want to apply promotion to a particular Location or Refer By then select these from the down list.
  5. Now, select promotion name from the drop-down list as "Free Points."
  6. Enter the Qualifying Amount on which you want to apply free points value. (For example, you entered 100 Rs.)
  7. Enter the Free Points Value in the column. Only entered value will apply on the qualifying amount.
  8. Save the window with the given option.

After creating a sales promotion, you have to tick mark on the Auto Apply Promotion in sales invoice transaction series. For this follow the below-given steps:

How to enable the option of auto apply promotion

  1. Go to the System> Master Data> Series.
  2. After that, a series window will appear in the next slide.
  3. Select the Sales invoice series name in which you create a sales invoice and want to apply for promotion.
  4. After selecting series, click on the Edit option.

  1. Go to the Additional Details tab.
  2. Tick mark on the Auto Apply Promotion to apply promotion automatically while creating sales bill.
  3. Click on the Save option.

Now, you can create a sales invoice the promotion will automatically be applied while saving the invoice.
