How to Redeem Reward Points in SwilERP
Overview
Once a certain number of reward points are accumulated, customers/patients can redeem them to avail of rebates and discounts on their purchases. This article explains how to do the reward points redemption process in SwilERP software. For this process, users must create a Billing head of free points. Follow the below-mentioned steps to know the process.

Start with login in SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process
Step:1 Create Billing Head
- Go to the System> Master Data> Billing Head.
- A new window of Billing Head will appear in the next slide. Here you will see all the created billing heads.
- Click on the New button to create a new billing head.

Billing Head Window - Now, enter the Billing Head name as "Free Points."
- Select the Account Name in which you want to do posting of this head.
- Now, select Less option from the Add/Less column.
- Select Rate In value as Rupees(Rs.).
- Click on the Save option to save it.

Create Billing Head Window Step:2 Enable Free Points Option in System Parameters- Go to the System> System Maintenance> System Parameters.
- Enter the password to open the system parameter window. To know the password contact to your local service provider or make a ticket on swil.support.com.
- Go to the RetailG Settings section.
- Select the billing head name in Billing Head for Redemption of Points column that you created previously for free reward points.
- Click on the Save option.

Note: After the above-given process, you have to log out your software and login again. Without doing this, the option will not be enabled in the software.
How to Redeem Free Reward Points
- Go to the Sales Menu> Retail Invoice.
- Select the Customer name whose sales bill you created while applying for the Free Rewards Points Promotions.
- After selecting the customer name, you can see Customer Points at the top of the screen.
As shown in the below-given screen:
Customer Points Window - Select the Product for which you want to create a sales bill.
- Select Batch no of the product and enter the selling Quantity of product.
- Go to the Add/Less option.
- Select the Billing Head name that you created for free points.
- After selecting it, you will see the Points Amount of selected customer.
- Here you can edit the amount of points according to how many points you want to redeem while creating a sales invoice. (For example, you want to redeem 20 customer points instead of 35 points)
- Press OK to continue.

Add/Less Window - After that, you will see the bill amount will automatically be adjusted according to entered free customer points.
- For example, the total bill amount is 1400 Rs. and the customer points are 35 Rs. After entering customer points, the Net Bill Amount is 1365 Rs only.
