Registering and Linking ABHA Numbers in Cross
The ABHA number (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) is a 14-digit unique health ID issued under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) by the Government of India. It enables patients to securely store and share their health records across hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic centers, creating a connected digital health ecosystem.
For healthcare providers using ERP software like Cross, collecting and linking a patient’s ABHA number during registration or billing is now a recommended step. This ensures better continuity of care, reduces paperwork, and aligns your practice with national digital health standards.
In this article, we’ll walk you through how to add a patient’s ABHA registration number in Cross software and keep your billing and health records compliant with ABDM guidelines.
