Product Conversion Process

 Product Conversion Process In SwilERP (RetailGraph) Software





When the user wants to convert their product into a loose quantity or similarly if you want to sell different products (Raw products) in a one-pack, they can do it with the help of the product conversion option. 

Or you can understand that is product conversion means you will purchase a bulk quantity of your products and convert them into packets. Product Conversion is used mostly in Departmental stores. 

In the RetailGraph software, there is an option to do a product conversion process. Follow the below process to know the process of Product Conversion. 


Start with Login in the RetailGraph dashboard to initiate the process:

Firstly, we have to create a purchase invoice. In this, we will take the example of Sugar 250 KG of your stock.                 

Step 1): Create a Purchase Invoice:

  1. Go to the Purchase tab > Purchase Invoice.

Step 2): After that, you will go for the product conversion process:

  1. Go to the Inventory tab.
  2. Select the Product Conversion option.
  3. After that, you will select a product that has to be converted (For example, you will purchase sugar 250 Kg of, and you will do Conversion of Sugar 100 Kg).
  4. Select the product in the Input Product section.

  1. After this, you need to select the 'Output Product' (From Raw qty to Pack qty), which has to be made.
  2. For Example:
  3. Output Product of Sugar 1kg Packets of Qty 50.  
  4. Output Product of Sugar 5Kg Pack of Qty 10.
  5. Input qty and Output qty should be equal when input and output product names are the same.
  6. After that, click on the Save tab, which is given in the Home section.

  1. If you want to print barcodes, then select the Print Barcodes option.
  2. After that, open Print Barcode Setting as shown in the image below.

  1. Now if you need to print the barcode then click Print Barcodes Option.
  2. To view the preview of barcode click on the Preview tab.

Note: Now when you check the stock of the quantity you have done this conversion process for, stock from bulk qty will decrease, and the packets qty will increase. Now you can directly sell those packets in a Sales Invoice.
