How to Create Sales Invoice in SwilERP


What is a Sales invoice?

A Sales Invoice is a Bill that a Vendor creates for customers against which the customers make the payment. A Sales invoice is an accounting transaction that serves as a record of sales and a description of the service or goods provided. 
       
From the offline and online dashboard, users can create Sales Invoice in SwilERP. To create an invoice, make sure that you have added your products' stock or purchased products. Sales invoices play an important part in managing inventories.

In the sales invoice section, users can create a sales invoice manually and also add a new product in the same window by product master


 


To create the retail invoice these are the following steps:  

Open SwilERP Dashboard
  1.   Go to Sales and click on Retail Invoice on top of the left side.

           Note: Shortcut key of this, please press "Shift+F3".

Steps to Create an Invoice

  1. In the next step you will see a window of create invoice.
    1. Enter Customer Name manually. 
    2. Select Refer By doctor name in the list or the user can create it manually.
    3. If the user wants to update the Address and Reference Number, then that can also be added.
    4. Select the Product from the dropdown list or you can create a new product in the same window by product master.
    5. After selecting a product, you have to select the Batch Number for the same product.
    6. Enter the Quantity of the Product and all further details will be automatically filled.

How to do Cash Discount and Other Adjustments in the Invoice?

  1. After selecting the product item you've see option to add cash discount and other adjustments. If user required they can update the amount in Dialog Box.

Select Payment Method during Invoice Creation

  • Save and print the page with given option on top of the left side, during this user see a window of payment mode.

  • Select the method of Payment as Cash, Credit, Cheque, Card/UPI.

Note: Shortcut key to save the page "ALT+S" or print the page "ALT+P".




Notes: 1. It is mandatory to fill in all details which have a red star mark.
            2.  If you create a new product then make sure that you have added stock of the product.
