How to Implement Loyalty Card System & View Report in Cross Software
A loyalty card program is an incentive plan allowing a retail business to gather customer data. Customers are offered product discounts, coupons, points toward merchandise, or some other reward in exchange for their voluntary participation in the program. With this option, you can create a loyalty card master and give discount points to the customers. Customers can redeem these points in their next purchase. Also, Cross has added a new feature to view card-wise reports. Do follow the below given steps to know the process.
Note: Install the latest version of Cross software before doing this process.
Step 1: Enable Loyalty Card System in System Parameters
- Go to the System> System Maintenance> System Parameters options.
- To open the system parameters window enter the password ("USSC") in the pop-up column.

Enable the Loyalty Card System option "True" to implement the process.
If you want Auto Generated Loyalty Card Number while generating it, enable this option "True."
If you want to generate loyalty card no. Manually then disable this option "False."

System Parameter Window Fill Loyalty Slab's Details:
- In this section, users can define the slab-wise amount and percentage (%) they want to offer their customers.
- For example, if the user defines the slab 1 discount 0% on 1000 Rs sales, or slab 2 discount 5% on 2000 Rs sales. When you make sales invoice of more than 1000 or under 2000 Rs then the 5% discount will be applied to bill amount.
- In this way, users can define multiple slabs in the system parameter section. As you can see in the below-given reference image.
- Also, users can enter Minimum Number of Points for Redeem amount to set the limit for points redemption.
- Press Ok to Save the window.

Slabs Define Window Note: After enabling the options, users have to re-login to the software again.
Step 2: Create Loyalty Card
- Go to the System> Master Data> Loyalty Card option.
- After that, a new window of Card Master will appear in the next slide. Here you will see all the created card masters.
- Click on the Add option to create a new Card Master.

Card Master Window - After that, a window of Loyalty Card Information will appear.
- If you enabled the auto-generate card no option, then card number will be filled automatically. Otherwise you can add it manually.
- Enter the Card Holder Name in the column.
- Enter the Mobile number & Email ID of customer.
- Enter the Age/ DOB/ Address/ Station/Pincode of customer, if required.
- If you want to update Family Member Detail then this option is also available here.
- Press OK to Save the master.

Loyalty Card Information Window Step 3: Generate Sales Invoice
After creating a loyalty card master you have generate sales invoice to add customer points.
- Go to the Sales Menu> Sales Invoice option.
- In the Card No column, enter the card number, or you can also enter the mobile number instead of card no. After entering mobile number, all further details will be filled automatically.
- Add products to generate sales bills. At the same time save the window if your bill amount criteria are according to the created slabs, then customer points will be added in the bill.
- This point customer redeemed in Next Invoice of particular Customer bill.

Sales Invoice Window Now, if you want to redeem these points in the next sales bill then follow the below-given steps.
- Select the same customer details by entering card number or mobile number in the column.
- The current balance of points and card's other detail will show on the top of the screen.
- After entering product details, you can enter the points redemption amount in column when you save the sales bill. (For example, you entered 1000 amount in redeem column)

Sales Invoice Window Step 4: Card Wise Sales Report
Cross software has added new feature to view loyalty card reports. In which users can find all the details related to the sales transactions. Users can find this option in Reports section.
- Go to the Reports> Sales Analysis> Card Wise Sales option.
- After that, a new window of Card Wise Sales Report will appear.

Report Option Window - Click on the Select Cards option.
- Select loyalty card for which you want to view the report.
- After selecting card press Ok to continue.

- Here you will see Sales Transaction Details i.e. invoice amount, loyalty points, redeem points, balance points, etc.
