User Parameters in Unisolve and Cross allow administrators to manage user permissions and control access to different features and options in the software. This ensures that each user can perform only the activities assigned to them.
Open Unisolve or Cross software and log in using your ADMIN credentials.
From the top menu bar, click on Administrator.
Select User Parameters from the drop-down menu.
After opening the User Parameters window, you will see a list of users on the left side, such as ADMIN, ACCNT, USER, etc.
The window displays different permission options for each user. These options help control what a user can access and perform in the software.
Some common permissions include:
Add / Modify / Remove: Allow or restrict users from adding, editing, or deleting records.
Operational Settings: Allow or restrict specific activities, such as editing discounts, changing free quantities, viewing net margins, using shortcut keys (Shift+F2), and modifying billing amounts.
Select the User: Find the user whose permissions you want to update.
Enable or Disable Permissions: Click the required checkboxes or cells to allow or restrict specific activities.
Manage Transaction Access: Select the transaction types that the user is allowed to access.
Save Changes: Click the OKbutton to save the updated User Parameters.
Select the User: Click on the specific user row (such as ADMIN, ACCNT, USER) you want to configure.
Toggle Operational Settings: Enable or disable permissions across columns like Add, Modify, Remove, Show Net Margin, Item By BarCode, Show Purch. Rate in Sales, and Change Billing Amount.
View the list of available transactions in Cross software.
Check or uncheck the specific transaction types (such as Sales Order, Purchase Invoice, Retail Sales, etc.) to grant or restrict access.
Use utility options like Select All, Invert All, or Deselect All to manage multiple transactions quickly.
