How to Implement Bar Code in Cross & How to Set & Print Barcode Label

Bar Code is a very simple process in our software.  This is a very fast working & stores can reduce time in the billing process.  

Bar Code stands for “Label in our product scan”. Sometimes we have to do billing by doing product entry manually but in this process, you can scan your product by scanner only one strip & Again scan the same product Add Quantity auto process in our software. When implement Bar Code at any store then Bar Code helps to Start Billing quickly.

In this article, we have explained to you how to start the Bar Code thorough in Purchase Entry Unisolve & Cross. For this please enable “Item Selection by Barcode” in System->System Maintenance-> System Parameters->System Retail Tab. Image as per below:

After that please mention starting Bar Code No. in the “First Bar Code” option in System ->System Maintenance -> System Parameters->System Tab. By Default Barcode no. entered in 12 digits. In this caption software auto generate 12 digits Barcode, if you want to Bar code / Lot number as per your requirement then please mention Bar Code no. as per your requirement in this option. 

After enabling this option, Software shows the Barcode Printing option when we entered Purchase Invoice & after that select for this Purchase Invoice for Printing. When you press ALT+P on the Purchase Invoice browser table then the software shows the “Barcode Labels” option. When you enabled this & after that click on the Print Labels tab then software shows the following some parameters to implement & print Bar Code Labels: Image as per below:

Bar Code Setup:

1. No. of Labels in Rows:  By default No. of Labels in rows shows1. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when your print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
   
2. No. of Blank Labels: By default No. of in Blank Labels is show 0. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when your print Bar Code on Laser Printer) 
   
3. Top Margin: By default Top margin shows 1. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
   
4. Left Margin: By default Left margin shows 1. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer) 
   
5. Bottom Margin: By default, the Bottom margin shows 1. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
   
6. Right Margin: By default Right margin shows 1. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
   
7. Label Height: By default Height margin shows 1. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
   
8. Label Width: By default Width margin shows 3. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
   
9. Bar Height: By default Height margin shows 0.5. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer) 
   
10. Bar Width: By default Width margin shows 3. This depends on your Bar Code Label Sheet. (This option is very usefully when you print Bar Code on Laser Printer)
    
11. Dos Based: After the select the Print label, please mark this option (Dos Based) which you use the net use command must be. Image as per below :

1. Format Name: When enter Purchase Invoice that time User also print Bar Code Labels through Purchase Invoice. (XmlDBar format design By SWIL Team as your bar code tender prn according.)
   

Note: PRN file generates regarding contact your hardware persons & Bar Code Printer person. (For Dos Based / Bar Code Printer)                                              

1. Products: After the above process, Software open Product table for Print Bar   Code Label with your Product Name. You can optional selection of your products.        
   
2. Print Labels:  After that software's last command Label printing. 
   

After the setup of the Bar Code process, now you start your Sales Invoice with Bar Code. You can paste Bar Code Labels on Product & scan Product at the time of Sales Invoice. When you scan Bar Code then Software auto picks Product Name, Batch & be default 1 Qty. in Sales. Image as per below:
