How to Reconcile Current Inventory with Surplus, Excess, or Shortage in SwilERP
Overview of Reconcile Current Inventory:
To reconcile current stock with a surplus or shortage, you need to compare the actual stock level with the desired stock level. The desired stock level is the amount of inventory that you need to have on hand to meet customer demand and avoid stockouts or overstocking. Here are the steps to reconcile current stock with surplus/shortage:
To start the process, log into the SwilERP dashboard.
- Go to Inventory > Reconcile Current Stock.

- Reconcile Current Stock window will appear on the next slide:
- Firstly go to the Home tab.
- Select your Product details from the list.
- Select the Batch Number of your product.
- Enter Actual Stock, which you have physically.
- After entering the actual stock, you will see data in the Surplus or Shortage automatically.
- To save the window, click on the Save tab.
- If you want to take out the print of these window details, click on the Print tab.

How to view the last entries of Surplus/Shortage details:
- After selecting the product details, you'll see the last entries of Shortage and Surplus details for the selected product.

Additional Options in the View Tab
While Reconcile current stock, users can select the following options as per the requirements::
- To view Reconcile Current Stock list:
- View > Browse details as per the requirement (i.e. Month wise, Date wise, etc).
- To Navigation:
- View > Previous (Alt+Up) & Next (Alt+Down).
