How to View TDS Collection Report in SwilERP (RetailGraph)


Tax deducted at source or TDS was introduced to collect tax from the source of income. According to the Income Tax Act, anyone making a payment is required to deduct tax if the payment crosses certain limits. The limits or the rates prescribed by the income tax department. When the user wants to view the details of the TDS collection, they can generate this report from the report menu.

In this article, we will show you the step-wise process, which will help you to view the TDS collection details in SwilERP. In this article, you can view the vendor name, GST number, PAN number, net amount, GST charged on amount, TDS % applicable, TDS calculated amount, etc.


Start with Login in the SwilERP dashboard to initiate the process:
  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. Select the Account Reports > TDS Collection.

Here you will see the process of how to view the TDS collection report:

  1. Go to the Home tab.
  2. Select the Date Range from when you want to see the report.
  3. If required, you can tick the mark in the below checkboxes:
  1. Only calculated TDS Invoice
  2. Applied TDS Invoice
  3. Adjusted Dr. Note TDS Invoice.
  1. If you want to apply a filter in the details, select the Vendor and Account options and apply a filter.
  2. Now, click on the View tab.

How to view the details in the Chart form:

  1. From the Home section.
  2. Click on the Chart tab, and a report will be converted into a Chart format.

 Note: There will be many options inside the Chart tab, for example, Palette, Show title, Show grid lines, Totals only you can select these options.

How to analyze the details:

  1. Go to the Analysis tab.
  2. Select the Date-Range from which you want to analyze the details.
  3. Click on the View tab.
  4. Use the field list to arrange fields in a Pivot Table.
  5. After choosing fields, you will see the data in Analysis Grid.
  6. Enter the name and click on the Save tab to save this report.
  7. If you want to open the previous report, enter that report name and click on the Open tab.
  8. Users can Remove/Export, and Import the report as their requirement.
  9. You can set Grid as per the requirement.
  10. You can convert the analysis report into the Chart form click on it.
  11. The user can view here also the Raw Data.

How to use the Areas Section:

  1. Use the areas section (at the bottom) of the field list to rearrange fields the way you want by dragging them between the four areas.
  2. Fields that you place in different areas are shown in the PivotTable as follows:

  4. Columns
  5. Rows
  6. Values

To take the print out and preview the report:

  1. Go to the Display tab.
  2. To take the printout, click on the Print and Preview tab.

To export the details into the Excel file:

  1. From the Display tab.
  2. Click on the 'T' point.
  3. Inside the 'T' point, the user can export this report into Excel, Text, PDF, or HTML format.
