Managing Product Variants in SwilMart

Product Variants in SwilMart: Step-by-Step Guide to Managing Product Variations


Product Variants in SwilMart Admin allow you to manage different versions of a product—such as pack size, weight, dosage, or configuration—under one main product. This helps maintain accurate pricing, stock levels, and visibility across your online store.

 

Step 1: Login to SwilMart Admin  

To begin managing product variants, first log in to your SwilMart Admin panel.
  1. Open the SwilMart Admin Login.

  2. Enter your registered email address.

  3. Enter your password.

  4. Click on the Sign In button.

Once logged in successfully, you will be redirected to the SwilMart dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to Product Variants  

  1. From the left-hand sidebar menu, click on Variants.
  2. The Product Variants page will open, displaying all available variants in your store.

Step 3: Search, Sort, and View Options  

At the top of the Product Variants page, you will find multiple tools to locate quickly and organize variants.
  • Use the Search bar to quickly find product variants by variant name, SKU, barcode, or product name.

  • Apply the Sort by option to arrange variants based on relevance or other available sorting criteria.

  • Switch between Grid View and List View to display variants in your preferred layout.

Step 4: Use Filters to Find Relevant Product Variants 

Use the Filters section on the left panel to narrow down and manage product variants efficiently.

  • Categories – Filter variants based on assigned product categories.

  • Brands – View variants associated with selected brands.

  • Status – Filter variants by All, Active, or Inactive.

  • Price Range – Narrow down variants within a selected price range.

  • Stock Status – Filter variants based on stock availability.

  • Features – Filter variants using predefined product features.

Step 5: View and Edit Product Variants

Use the Actions column to view or update product variants as needed.
  • View Variant – Click the View (eye) icon to open variant details, where you can review and edit the variant information.

  • Quick Edit Variant – Click the Edit (pencil) icon to quickly modify variant details without opening the full details page.

Step 6: View Variant Details  

Click the View (eye) icon from the Actions column to open the variant details page.
  • View complete variant information, including price, stock, SKU, and status.

  • Navigate through tabs such as Variant Overview, Product Details, Pricing (View Only), Stock & Inventory, Images, and Attributes & Metadata.

  • Use the Edit Variant button to update variant details if required.

  • Use options like Sync from ERP or Refresh Stock from ERP to keep variant data up to date.

Step 7: Edit Product Variant  

Click the Edit (pencil) icon or the Edit Variant button to update variant details.
  • Edit basic information such as Title, SKU, Barcode, and UPC.

  • Update Status & Settings, including Active / Inactive, Default Variant, Featured Variant, and Top Seller.

  • Add or manage Options to define variant-specific choices.

  • Add or update Attributes to provide additional variant details.

  • Click Save Changes to apply updates, or Cancel to discard changes.

Note: Pricing details are managed separately and cannot be edited from this screen.
